Hello! My name is Katy Homanick. I am recent Michigan State University grad finishing with a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising (concentration in management) and a specialization in Public Relations.

A little about me as a professional:

I am young professional starting work at  Alloy Media + Marketing in Chicago. Working in business development and account management will be my main focus.

I was the Advertising Manager for The State News: Michigan State’s Independent Voice in 2009-2010. I worked there for three years dealing as a Senior Account Executive and other management roles.

In addition to The State News, I was also a Brand Ambassador for Coffee-mate ® working to promote their products on the Michigan State campus and I also completed an internship as a communcations/event planning intern at Michigan Fitness Foundation in Lansing.

A little about me as an individual:

I am origanally from Warren, Mich. and moved to East Lansing in 2006 to complete a four year program at Michigan State University. This past May I moved to Lincoln Park in Chicago, Ill.

I am extremely passionate about the environment and I have been a vegetarian for the past ten years. Staying healthy and active will always be important pieces of my lifestyle.
